Songwriters Salon with Kathryn Kavanagh

  • Artemisia Institute 296 East Main Street Ashland, OR, 97520 United States (map)

Join us for our monthly Songwriters Salon, an intimate evening of creativity, listening, and shared inspiration, guided by Kathryn Kavanagh.

This gathering is a space for musicians, poets, and storytellers to bring songs-in-progress, lyrical ideas, or even the spark of something not yet fully formed.

Whether you come with a finished piece, a rough draft, or simply the desire to be part of a creative circle, the salon offers a welcoming container to explore your voice and connect with fellow artists in community. Participants will have the opportunity to share their work, receive supportive feedback, and collaborate in a spirit of curiosity and play.

Katheryn gently holds the space, weaving guidance, presence, and attuned listening to support each participant’s creative unfolding.

These evenings are less about performance and more about process—a place where creativity can unfold organically, where unfinished ideas are welcome, and where inspiration often emerges through the presence of others.

Bring a guitar, a notebook, a melody, a poem, or simply your listening ears.

All are welcome. No previous songwriting experience is necessary.

Come write, listen, and let the songs find their way through us.
