This seventh weekend of The Elemental Journey Around the Sun brings the focus to resilience, responsiveness, and applied skill.

As the season shifts deeper into autumn, we explore how herbal medicine meets real-life situations — from first aid and trauma care to practical plant arts and ancestral skills. 

This immersion emphasizes confidence in moments that require steadiness. You will learn to tend the dark and light aspects of life with grace, ease and beauty.

• Practical approaches to acute situations

• Plant arts: dyeing, print making, and creative expression

• Primitive and ancestral skills

• Building calm responsiveness through embodied practice

• Integrating herbal knowledge into real-world care

Students will explore how herbal medicine supports both physical resilience and emotional steadiness — and how practical skill strengthens confidence in community care.

This weekend balances technical instruction with creative expression, reinforcing that medicine is both science and art.
