Metal Element · Letting Go & Clinical Practice
The Elemental Journey Around the Sun (Weekend 8)
November 14–15, 2026
Saturday & Sunday | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Ashland, Oregon
This eighth weekend of The Elemental Journey Around the Sun is guided by the Metal element and Autumn— the season of refinement, discernment, and release.
As autumn deepens, we turn toward the lungs, skin, elimination, and the energetic process of letting go. Metal teaches us how to clarify what is essential and release what no longer serves — in body, mind, and practice.
This immersion also introduces a stronger focus on clinical herbalism, helping students integrate seasonal wisdom into practical care frameworks.
Weekend Focus
The Metal element and its correspondences: respiration, skin, elimination
Grief, boundaries, and energetic release
Herbal support for allergies, respiratory & immune health, and skin care
Seasonal care medicine making
Foundations of clinical practice within an energetic framework
Connecting with the soul of metal and spirit of autumn herbs
Bridging elemental philosophy with practical case studies
Students will explore how to hold both intuition and discernment — refining their understanding of herbal energetics while strengthening practical application.
As part of the 9-month arc, this weekend prepares students to move from inspiration into clarity — distilling what they have learned into usable skill and confident practice.
